The importance of flyscreens

NOT ONLY PROTECTION

Why do we need flyscreens in our living environments? ...to protect ourselves against mosquitos, why else? In fact, the answer seems fairly obvious. But if we dwell a little on the question, we can find many other excellent reasons why we should protect our living environment using flyscreens.

For example, thanks to the flyscreens we can keep the windows wide open, allowing the air to enter the room, while keeping the annoying mosquitos outside: a good air circulation ensures wellness, good sleep, helps focusing and enhances your day-to-day performance. Keep in mind that the air in your home or at your office can be up to 5 times more polluted than the air outside. We spend 90% of our time indoors, at home, at school or at work, breathing approximately 22,000 times every 24 hours.

Let’s not forget the importance of light too: the sunlight is a “super nutrient”. The Sun acts as a natural antidepressant: what could be better for our mood than to open the windows and let the light (..and only the light...) enter our homes. And that’s not all: the flyscreens also keep away any flies, bedbugs, spiders and surely many other insects, that even if not stinging, they sure are an unwanted and annoying presence in our homes!

And moreover: the flyscreen helps saving energy, limiting the use of air handling systems such as air conditioners. A benefit to the environment and to your health, but also an economic advantage.
