Care and Maintenance

Your flyscreen needs to be cared for in order to offer you the protection you need. Here are some simple steps to keep in mind: the mesh should be cleaned periodically by aspirating it gently with a vacuum cleaner, preferably with brush. Then it can be cleaned with a cloth dampened with water and neutral solution, rubbing it slightly across the surface of the flyscreen and avoiding any sudden movements that could detach the handle bar from its housing, thus causing it to move upwards. Keep in mind that you need to let the flyscreen dry before winding it back inside the box.

The parts in aluminium can also be cleaned with a cloth dampened with water and the same neutral detergent.

Do not use thinners, alcohol or abrasive detergents as you may damage the mesh or the structure of the flyscreen.

For best results we recommend that you use the special Bettio Cleaner spray.

If the mesh gets wet in the rain, keep in mind that you first have to let it dry before rewinding the flyscreen.

Lubricate all moving parts periodically, such as the sides of the Scenica® mobile side rail, using the special Bettio Lubricant. Do not use oil-based or grease-based lubricants because they tend to accumulate dirt, blocking the operation of the product.
